We photograph the in-between: the breath before the vows, the laugh that breaks the pose, the hand that finds another without looking.

Lumen & Vale is the (fictional) practice of Elise Marlow. We work with a small number of couples and families each year and give each one our full attention, from the first hello to the finished album.
