About the studio
Hello, I’m Elise.
Fictional photographer, real attention to detail.

I started photographing weddings because I kept crying at them anyway.
For twelve years (in this fictional universe) I’ve photographed weddings, elopements and families from the Hudson Valley, NY to the Scottish Highlands. The camera changes. What I look for doesn’t: the unguarded moment when people forget to perform and simply are.
I take a limited number of weddings each year so every couple gets my full attention: planning calls, location scouting, a hand-edited gallery and an album we design together.

Philosophy
01
Presence over poses
We guide gently and then get out of the way. The best moments are the ones nobody planned.
02
Light as a language
Every timeline is built around the sun. Soft light forgives, flatters and tells the truth.
03
Made to last
Archival prints and hand-bound albums, because a photograph should outlive the device that shows it.
In the bag
Light kit, heavy heart.
